The Nation ICT Platform
The National ICT platform of the National Health Insurance Scheme is one of the most beneficial to clients, schemes and service providers. This however has been received with mixed feelings by the various stakeholders. While some providers think that the process is cumbersome the schemes and the clients think that the process is centralizing the scheme contrary to current trends of government policies. The true however is that the benefits far outweigh these problems. The platform brings about portability in the scheme thus breaking the barrier between schemes. Also health care becomes more accessible to clients now. The system also health check fraud and speeds up claims processing. The story has just started! Your views?
